Description

Compared to the “normal” Smokehead, the Smokehead Extra Rare has a little more barrel maturity and at the same time more steam in the form of a powerful peaty note combined with salty seaweed and fresh fruity notes. The influence of the sherry barrel insert is also clearly visible in the Extra Rare. A whisky for true Islay fans.

Tasting notes:

Colour: gold.
Nose: smoke and peat, lemon, ginger, spices.
Taste: Smoky, cocoa, peat, honey, fine sweetness.
Finish: Long lasting, dry.
