The Poli distillery was founded in 1898 by GioBatto Poli. Today, it is managed by the four siblings Jacopo, Geampaolo, Barbara and Andrea Poli. It is located in the north-eastern Italian municipality of Schiavon, in the province of Veneto.
The grappa is made from Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Distillation is done gently in small batches using steam. The storage takes place for 6 months in former Sassicaia wine barrels.
Colour: gold.
Nose: Vanilla, wood, cocoa, coffee, licorice.
Taste: Complex and well structured.
Finish: Long lasting.
A drinking temperature of 18-20 °C is recommended.
