Description

Ardbeg is considered “without doubt the most impressive distillery in the world”. The house was founded in 1815 and could be saved in 1997 just before the closure of the company. The distillery is located on the storm-lashed, rugged and famous whisky island of Islay off the west coast of Scotland.

The Ardbeg Uigeadail combines whisky from Bourbon and Sherry casks. An exciting peaty attack, softened by sherry sweetness.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Amber.
Nose: Rich, fruity, leather, hints of raisins.
Taste: Harsh, sweet, smoky, malty.
