Description

The Glenlivet distillery is the first licensed whiskey distillery in Scotland. Founded in 1824, the company is now the largest malt distillery in Scotland, producing around 12 million liters of whiskey a year.

The Glenlivet 18 Years is a top-class single malt whiskey.
It comes from one of the most famous valleys in Scotland, the Livet Valley. Here flows the river Livet, which is deeply embedded in the valley and partly runs underground for several kilometers.
For this reason, fresh and above all pure and clear water is constantly available to the distillery located in the mountains.
The Glenlivet 18 Years Old is a combination of 2 barrel types; American oak and ex-sherry barrels.

Tasting notes:

Color: Gold.
Nose: Slightly sweet, floral, toffee, touch of peat smoke, oak.
Taste: Elegant, floral, sweetish, delicate, slightly nutty, notes of peaches, sweet oranges.
Finish: Long lasting, sweet, raisins, spices.
