Since 1829, Desmont Williams has been producing traditional Irish whiskey at its Tullamore Distillery.
Williams recognized the old heather wine recipe and thus produced the Irish Mist from 1947.
It was once the first liqueur to be produced in Ireland and is thus considered the forerunner of all whiskey liqueurs in Ireland.
The Irish Mist is now known far beyond the borders of the Emerald Isle.
The ingredients include Irish barley, selected herbs, as well as heather and clover honey.
The old recipe is still valid today and is merely refined by a few ingredients.
Color: Gold.
Nose: Sweet, bitter, a touch of honey.
Taste: Sweet, bitter, a touch of dark chocolate.
Finish: Long lasting.
The Irish Mist tastes best neat, on ice or with soda.
This liqueur is also a delight as Irish Coffee.
The Irish enjoy it best with cola and lime
