Description

Fernet-Branca is the world’s largest and best known bitter. Since 1845 Fernet-Branca has been produced according to a secret family recipe by Fratelli Branca Distillerie S.r.L. in Milan.
For the production 27 herbs, plants and spices like gentian, saffron, myrrh, camomile, elderflower etc. are used.
They give Fernet-Branca its powerful natural and at the same time spicy taste. Fernet-Branca is stored for over a year in handmade oak barrels in old cellar vaults of the traditional building.

Life is bitter – Fernet-Branca

Tasting notes:

Colour: Amber.
Nose: Soft, herbal, hints of myrrh.
Taste: Balsamic, bitter herbal aromas, spices, tannins.
Finish: Long-lasting, sweet plant and floral notes.

Fernet-Branca is mainly drunk pure as a digestif or on ice.
It is also very popular in hot drinks such as coffee and espresso (caffè corretto).
Among the extremely versatile mix variations are also e.g. Fernet-Branca with cola, beer and also with energy drinks.
