Santa Cruz (a sub-appellation of the Colchagua Valley). All grapes are harvested when fully ripe and fermented in the traditional way. After the composition of the final blend, around 70% of the cuvée is aged in American oak barrels for six months. Color: beautiful, intensely bright ruby red scent: in the bouquet seductive notes of fine butter caramel, chocolate, spices, tobacco and coffee merge with elegant vanilla aromas (due to the barrel maturity) Taste: Gentle on the palate with a soft, almost sweet fullness, a medium to full body and the characteristic yet firm and velvety matured tannins of the Carménère, harmoniously round and balanced in the finish with a wonderful length Serving suggestion: with many meat dishes, also with oriental spices, with Chilean chicken stew or spicy rice stews
